Herdsman’s House

The Herdsman’s House is a unique year-round guest house furnished with traditional Mennonite furniture, hand painted floors, a Russian bake heater, and a Frisian bedstee. Located in the historic village of Neubergthal, Manitoba, this historic accommodation is the only remaining house of its kind. Originally built in the 1880s, it has been restored to offer a peaceful retreat. Guests can enjoy fresh eggs, sourdough bread, locally roasted coffee, and access to a wood-fired sauna.
